EVENT: 108 WALK4MOORE - WALK 4 LIFE fund-raising school walks to bring awareness BOWEL CANCER
Pupils from Bobby Moore’s old senior school Tom Hood Leytonstone will be walking around the famous pitch at Upton Park led by two top glamorous models dressed in England & West Ham shirts to launch a new and initiative way for school children to get fit help raise money and bring awareness to Bowel Cancer with the 108 WALK4MOORE WALK 4 LIFE school walks.
Tom Hood’s Deputy Head teacher Mick Taylor an avid Bobby Moore fan said “We are very proud of the fact that Bobby attended Tom Hood for 5 years as a secondary school pupil and that he went on to such great things. 
He is a role module for all pupils from this very deprived area of London and has shown that despite this you can go on to be a success in life if you are dedicated, hard working and committed Stephanie kindly attended a ceremony here and a plaque to celebrate his time with us is now in the reception area of the school.”
In schools all around the UK, pupils wearing their favourite team’s shirts are being invited to organise 108 WALK4MOORE WALK 4 LIFE school walks- representing Bobby Moore’s total England caps
The 108 WALK4MOORE” WALK 4 LIFE school walks is the brainchild of London-based photographer Joe Leslie whose own family as also been touched by cancer.
“I believe if schools all over the country respond to this appeal, it will have a major influence on improving fitness in schools, building an everlasting memory to a true footballing LEGEND and bringing much needed awareness regarding bowel cancer – and in the process save many more lives.” he said
Joe is calling for schools throughout the country to get behind this brilliant fitness campaign by registering and taking part in the “108 WALK4MOORE” WALK 4 LIFE school walks.

The entry fee is nominal & to raise extra money to support Cancer Research we would like each entrant to kindly donate as many unwanted gifts as possible so that they can be sold on an exclusive auction site.
